Strawberry Split
Top pop duo Strawberry Switchblade have secretly split. The outrageous pair stunned the pop world with their flamboyant costumes, although Jill Bryson was a self-confessed agoraphobic – she dreads open spaces – while Rose McDowall was terribly shy.
Manager Dave Balfe tells me: ‘There’s no real reason. They just decided to quit.’
Their hits include Since Yesterday and Let Her Go.
