In the great Ledger Of Daft Ideas For Pop Records, this one will stand tall: sort of a Giorgio Moroder-style Euro-disco version of a Dolly Parton pop country classic performed by two female Scottish ex-punks with an over-bearing penchant for polka dots. Oh yeah, it’s got violins on it too. Stranger than fiction, if you ask me.
